Today we bring you another feature in our ongoing Interview with a Vendor series, sharing an inside look at Route 66 Photo Booth. We enjoy working with Route 66 as they provide wedding guests with a fun experience that can also serve as a wedding favor. Guests always have a blast with their booth full of creative props! What services do you offer?

We offer all-inclusive photo booth rental packages for weddings, corporate events, parties, etc.

How long have you been in business?

We started Route 66 Photo Booth in July 2009, so that would make us nearly four years old- Tulsa’s oldest photo booth company. Our business is rapidly expanding; we started Route 66 Photo Booth OKC in May 2011 and Razor Booth in Fayetteville in September 2012.

What inspires you?

We are inspired by the thrill we get from hearing “OMG!” and laughter coming from the photo booth when we are at an event. Stacie more or less becomes friends with each and every bride through her work with them on graphics for their customized booth. I know it thrills her more than anything when a bride who she may not have ever met hugs her when they meet for the first time at the reception and the bride exclaims how happy she is with the work that Stacie has done to make her wedding reception so special!

How early should a client contact you to start planning?

For weddings, obviously the spring is very busy into June, so we suggest no later than six months from your wedding date. We have six booths available so we can even find a date on short notice. For corporate Christmas/holiday parties, 6-9 months is a good time frame. We already have 3 parties booked for this Christmas season and we did over 20 last December. For proms and graduations, 4-5 months is a good lead time.

The Lodge has been in business as an event venue under the current family ownership for approximately eight years.

We enjoy working with people and sharing the peacefulness and beauty of the lodge and grounds locations.

For specific dates, we recommend planning approximately one year in advance. If your dates are flexible, planning may only be necessary a few weeks or months out.
