Artworks honors moms everywhere this Mother’s DayMay 11, 2012 by Artworks Tulsa Photography | Children Family
Mom: She’s the woman who brought you into this world, and though she might have occasionally joked about taking you out of it, deep down you know she loves you more than you could imagine. There are few influences that shape our lives so significantly as the love of a mother. At Artworks, we are privileged to witness the bond between many mothers and their children at various stages of life, as mothers of brides, graduating seniors, young children, and even new infants. It is an honor to create portraits to preserve the connection between a mother and her children, and many of the stories from our customers have touched us deeply.
Bride Julie Huse recently shared what an impact her mother had on her wedding day:
“Since I’ve been a little girl, my mom has always prayed for the man that would be my husband. When she met Brooks, she knew that he was the one I was going to marry because she said he met all the criteria she had always prayed my husband would have. To have my mom’s blessing meant the world to me. To have her by my side the day of the wedding is something I will always cherish. She helped me plan the entire day, and without her help it wouldn’t have been nearly as beautiful.”
Although mothers should be celebrated every day, this Sunday, May 13th, is officially Mother’s Day and Artworks is offering a special deal on gift cards to celebrate amazing moms everywhere! For a limited time we are willing to double any gift card purchase amount up to $250. This means, for just $25, your mom could have $50 to spend on sitting fees or prints from Artworks, all the way up to a $250 purchase, which gives Mom $500 to spend at Artworks. Your mom gets the gorgeous photographs she has been wanting, and you come out looking like a big spender- it’s a win-win deal!
